Sunny dreams of becoming a mahout, an elephant driver, but he's a city kid, not from the Karen tribe that mahouts traditionally come from. So Boon, his master, refuses to allow Sunny to ride Dara, his elephant. But when modernization and deforestation force Boon to lead his tribe and their elephants to Bangkok, hoping to make money as a tourist attraction, Sunny's knowledge of the urban jungle comes in useful.
