Extend Your USB Signal Without Latency
Are you tired of dealing with signal loss and latency when extending your USB signal? The Light-Link USB 3.0 Fiber Optic Cable is the perfect solution for you. This cable uses fiber optic technology to send the signal instantly without any perceptible latency, making it ideal for long distance USB extension. With speeds of up to 5Gbps, you can enjoy high-speed data transfer without any compromise.
How It Works
The Light-Link USB cable is composed of two fiber cables and two copper cables. The copper cables are used for non-data information such as +5v power for USB devices, while the fiber strands carry all the data information. The converters inside the cable heads convert incoming electrical signal into optical on one end, and back into electrical on the other end. The light travels down the fibers using internal reflection, allowing the light to bounce off the cable walls similar to a bobsled, making it extremely fast and reliable.
Eliminate Points of Failure
In a typical long distance USB extension setup, you have many potential points of failure, including the source to sender, receiver to device, an RJ45 cable in between, and two power adapters for the baluns. The Light-Link USB eliminates all these points of failure, extending the signal with zero latency and without having to worry about baluns or power adapters.
Optional Auxiliary Power
The Light-Link USB features a micro USB-B port to provide auxiliary power for devices that require a little more power than usual. This optional feature is not required for most devices, but it provides an extra layer of convenience and flexibility.
Reliable and Durable
The Light-Link USB Fiber Optic Cable is a reliable and durable solution for long distance USB extension. With a recommended minimum bend radius of about 4 cm when not under tension or about 8 cm when under tension, this cable can withstand the rigors of daily use. The fiber optic cable is also resistant to electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for use in a variety of environments.
